1. Introduction

FenCraft ("we", "our", or "us") operates the FenCraft mobile application (User App) and the FenCraft Provider mobile application (Provider App), collectively referred to as "the Apps". This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Apps.

By using either App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Full name, phone number, and email address — during registration or profile setup
• Profile photo — optional, uploaded by you
• Address and location — for service delivery and booking
• Payment information — processed securely through third-party payment gateways (Stripe, PhonePe). We do not store card details.
• Business documents — for providers during registration (e.g. ID proofs, certifications)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location data — to find nearby services and providers (only when the app is in use)
• Device information — device model, OS version, unique device identifiers
• Usage data — screens visited, features used, booking activity
• Push notification tokens — to send booking updates and alerts

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google Sign-In — name, email, and profile photo from your Google account
• Firebase Phone Authentication — your phone number for OTP verification

4. Location Data

We collect your location to:

• Show services available near you
• Help providers navigate to your address
• Assign bookings to the nearest available provider

Location is only accessed while the app is in use. We do not track your location in the background.

5. Camera

The App requests camera access to allow you to:

• Upload a profile photo
• Attach images to service requests or bookings

Camera access is only used when you actively initiate an upload. We do not access your camera passively.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these cases:

• Service providers — your name and address are shared with the assigned provider/handyman to fulfil your booking
• Payment processors — Stripe, PhonePe for transaction processing
• Firebase / Google — for authentication and push notifications
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our rights

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for location or notification access at any time via device settings

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment data is handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Apps use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Messaging)
• Google Maps
• Stripe Payments
• PhonePe

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
